Have you seen the eye?

  1. The Have you seen the Eye Competition is organised by Surfers Against Sewage, Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0RD.
  2. Surfers Against Sewage reserves the right to cancel, or amend the Have you seen the Eye Competition rules at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within these Have you seen the eye Rules. A copy of the rules may also be obtained from Surfers Against Sewage, Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0RD.
  3. The Have you seen the Eye Competition is only open to existing SAS members.
  4. To enter participants must send in a photograph of the SAS eye in an obscure place, along with their contact details to Surfers Against Sewage, Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0RD or to siobhan@sas.org.uk
  5. Proof of posting cannot be accepted as proof of delivery. Surfers Against Sewage cannot accept liability for any error in transmission that is beyond their control.
  6. Photographs can not be returned.
  7. Employees of Surfers Against Sewage or anyone professionally connected with SAS are not eligible to participate in the SAS monthly Join Prize Draw. Surfers Against Sewage reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
  8. The closing date for the Have you seen the Eye Competition is the last day of the calendar year.
  9. The winner of the competition will be the person who spots SAS eye in the most obscure place. The winner will be selected by a panel of Surfers Against Sewage Staff.
  10. The winner of the draw will be notified by telephone or email and will have seven days to claim their prize.
  11. If a winner does not accept the prize within 7 days, they will automatically forego their rights to claim the prize and a new winner will be chosen.
  12. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any promotional activity following the competition draw.

Car Sticker Compeition

  1. The SAS Car Sticker Competition is organised by Surfers Against Sewage, Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0RD.
  2. Surfers Against Sewage reserves the right to cancel, or amend the Car Sticker Competition Prize Draw rules at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within these Prize Draw Rules. A copy of the rules may also be obtained from Surfers Against Sewage, Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0RD.
  3. All individuals who display a 2007 SAS Members Car sticker will be eligible to win the monthly Car Sticker Competition.
  4. Employees of Surfers Against Sewage or anyone professionally connected with SAS are not eligible to participate in the SAS monthly Join Prize Draw. Surfers Against Sewage reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
  5. The Car Sticker Competition will be run on a monthly basis; the Car Sticker Competition winner will be selected at random by a member of Surfers Against Sewage staff who spots the 2007 members car sticker in a members car.
  6. The registration number of the winning car in the Car Sticker Competition will be posted in the members area of the SAS website with the last two characters of the registration number covered.
  7. Winners will be required to claim their prize within 28 days by confirming the last two digits of the registration number.
  8. If a winner does not accept the prize within 28 days, they will automatically forego their rights to claim the prize.
  9. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any promotional activity following the competition draw.

Join Prize Draw

  1. The SAS Join Prize Draw is organised by Surfers Against Sewage, Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0RD.
  2. Surfers Against Sewage reserves the right to cancel, or amend the Join Prize Draw rules at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within these Prize Draw Rules. A copy of the rules may also be obtained from Surfers Against Sewage, Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0RD.
  3. All individuals who join as a new member of SAS (online, over the phone, by post or by direct debit) during any given month will be entered into the draw to win in the monthly Join Prize Draw.
  4. Existing members who renew their membership with SAS will not be entered into the Join Prize Draw; however, they will be entered into the Renewal Prize Draw.
  5. The Join Prize Draw is only open to persons over the age of 18, and who are residents of the UK or Channel Islands.
  6. Employees of Surfers Against Sewage or anyone professionally connected with SAS are not eligible to participate in the SAS monthly Join Prize Draw. Surfers Against Sewage reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
  7. The Join Prize Draw will be made on a monthly basis; the closing date for each Join Prize Draw will always be the last date of the month.
  8. Join Prize Draw winners will be selected at random from all new SAS members who joined during that month; the draw will be witnessed by an independent adjudicator.
  9. The winner of the draw will be notified by telephone and will be required to confirm acceptance of the prize. Arrangements will then be made to ensure that the winner will receive their prize.
  10. Should a winner not accept their prize a new winner will be chosen.
  11. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any promotional activity following the competition draw.

Renewal Prize Draw

  1. The SAS Renewal Prize Draw is organised by Surfers Against Sewage, Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0RD.
  2. Surfers Against Sewage reserves the right to cancel, or amend the Renewal Prize Draw rules at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within these Renewal Prize Draw Rules. A copy of the rules may also be obtained from Surfers Against Sewage, Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0RD.
  3. All individuals who renew their membership with SAS (online, over the phone, by post or by direct debit) between Pipleline Editions will be entered into the draw to win in the Renewal Prize Draw.
  4. New SAS members will not be entered into the Renewal Prize Draw; however, they will be entered into the Join Prize Draw.
  5. The Renewal Prize Draw is only open to persons over the age of 18, and who are residents of the UK or Channel Islands.
  6. Employees of Surfers Against Sewage or anyone professionally connected with SAS are not eligible to participate in the SAS monthly Join Prize Draw. Surfers Against Sewage reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
  7. Renewal Prize Draw winners will be selected at random from all previous SAS members who renew their membership from the start of the renewal period until the closing date.
  8. The closing date for the Pipe 68 Renewal Prize draw is 15 June 2007

Recruit a Member

  1. The Recruit a Member Competition is organised by Surfers Against Sewage, Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0RD.
  2. Surfers Against Sewage reserves the right to cancel, or amend the Recruit a Member rules at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within these Recruit a Member Rules. A copy of the rules may also be obtained from Surfers Against Sewage, Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0RD.
  3. Participants must ensure that their name and membership number is quoted by each new SAS member that they recruit, in order that a new member may be accredited to the participant. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible or fraudulent entries.

Raffle Terms and Conditions

  1. The 2008 SAS Raffle is promoted by Siobhan Keyes, Surfers Against Sewage, Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0RD.
  2. The 2008 SAS Raffle is registered with Carrick DC Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976.
  3. Tickets can only be sold to and by persons over the age of 18.
  4. Surfers Against Sewage reserves the right to cancel, or amend the SAS Raffle rules at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within these Raffle Terms and Conditions. A copy of the rules may also be obtained from Surfers Against Sewage, Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0RD.
  5. Tickets must be returned by 16 July 2008 in order to be eligible for the raffle draw. Any tickets and money returned after this date will be kept as a donation.
  6. The 2008 SAS Raffle draw takes place on 18 July 2008.

  8. Raffle ticket winners will be selected at random from all returned raffle tickets; an independent adjudicator will witness the draw.
  9. The winner of the raffle will be notified by telephone and will be required to confirm acceptance of the prize. Arrangements will then be made to ensure that the winner will receive their prize.

  12. SAS can accept entries from individuals and groups for the 'sell the most raffle tickets' competition running along side the 2008 SAS Raffle.
  13. 1st Prize: La Lucertola - 7 days accommodation for up to five guests at the beautiful, 'carbon light' La Lucertola Farmhouse in Tuscany, Italy. This prize is subject to availability and may be redeemed between October 2008 and May 2009. This prize does not include flights or transfers.
  14. 2nd Prize: Merton Hotel - A 4 day holiday for two at the 3 Star Merton Hotel in Jersey, in either a twin or double room, inclusive of breakfast and foot passenger ferry travel with Condor Ferries (Car can be booked for a supplement). This prize is offered subject to availability and can be taken at any time when the hotel is open (until 13th Dec 2008) but excluding July & August.
  15. 3rd Prize: Hill Cottage - A 7 day holiday for up to four guests at the 4 star Hill Cottage in Devon. Hill Cottage holds a Gold 'Green Tourism Business Award'. The holiday is offered for 7 nights between 4th October 2008 and before 28th March 2009, excluding all school holidays and subject to availability.
  16. 5th Prize: Freshwater Fruit Farm - 7 days accommodation in a mobile home, for up to six guests at the self-catering Freshwater Fruit Farm in Freshwater, Isle of Wight. The Farm has held a Gold 'Green Island Award' for the last four years. The holiday is offered subject to availability and does not include travel.
  17. 6th Prize: Fifteen Cornwall - A meal for two from the Tasting Menu at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Restaurant, at Watergate Bay, Cornwall. The prize also includes a bottle of house wine.
  18. 7th Prize: Duke of Cambridge - Vouchers to the value of £75 to be used against a meal for two at The Duke of Cambridge in Islington, London - the first and only Soil Association certified organic pub in the UK. The prize must be redeemed by 31st October 2008
  19. 8th Prize: Patagonia Footwear - A pair of Patagonia Shoes made using recycled materials. The Bagley shoe is available for men and The Quintin shoe is available for women.
  20. 9th Prize: Vintage Roots - A dozen bottles of top quality selected organic wines. Delivery to UK mainland only.

Win an Ipod / Jack Johnson Competition

  1. The draw will take place on 31st July 2008 and all entries must be received by 10am on 31st July 2008.
  2. To be entered into the draw you must identify where the alarm clock has been hidden within the SAS Online Shop and email info@sas.org.uk with the product code from the page where you found the alarm clock.
  3. The winner of the prize will receive an iPod containing the new Jack Johnson album Sleep Through The Static, as well as assorted songs from his back catalogue and other artists on his Brushfire Records label.
  4. There are five runners up prizes available of a CD of Sleep Through The Static.
