Design Competition

Here's a fantastic chance for all you budding designers out there to get your work seen by the thousands of people in beach car parks and sitting in traffic jams behind SAS members across the country!

We're running a design competition for next year's Member's Sticker and the winner will receive a pair of Vans Shoes - and if we like the design enough, we'll put it into production and send one to every SAS member during 2009 (please note, the winning design is not guaranteed to be used for the actual 2009 Member's Sticker)

The design can be anything you want, either something completely new or an updated version of the recent tax disk designs.

All computer generated entries must be sent to us on a CD and unfortunately we cannot return these to you.

The Spec

Required

• Any 2 colours (plus we can use the white background of the sticker material as a 3rd colour)
• Final sticker size 10cm diameter (square or circular)
• 3mm bleed on each side

It must include the words:

• Surfers Against Sewage
• Member
• www.sas.org.uk
• Either '2009' or if it's a tax disk style, you can use the tax disk style date format of 31.12.2009
• One of these logos (we can email high res logos on request but they must only be used within the design for this competition and they cannot be altered, except for the colours - contact info@sas.org.uk)

Desirable

The wording 'campaigning for clean, safe recreational water'

PREFERRED FORMAT
A vector eps/illustrator file set up for spot colour printing

ACCEPTED FORMAT
Minimum 300dpi CMYK pdf, eps or jpeg
Line drawing (it must have no raised sections which will cause shadowing when scanned for printing). Maximum size A3.

The closing date is 30th September 2008.

Recruit a member competition

If you 'recruit' the most NEW members during 2008 you'll win an O'Neill Epic 2 CT 3/2mm wetsuit. You'll also be featured in Pipeline, on our website and short listed for Member Of The Year!

You could distribute membership forms to friends, door-to-door, at an event you're organising, or you could simply use your powers of persuasion to get others to join on-line!

Don't forget to write your name and phone number on the bottom of each membership form or get the new member to quote it in the Special Offer Code box if they join on-line, so that we know who recruited them.
